Work result
The OM654 diesel engine paired with the hybrid motor has huge unused potential.
The factory calibration heavily restricts torque, boost, fuel quantity, and temperature thresholds due to Euro 6d regulations.
Stage 1 focuses only on the diesel part (no changes to hybrid module) and transforms the driving feel dramatically.
Main maps calibrated (real DAMOS names)
Driver torque request → DRIV_TQ_REQ
Torque limiters → MNTO, MNTQ_MAX
Smoke limiter → SMK_LIM, LIM_MAF_SMK
Boost target → P_BST_TGT
Rail pressure → RAIL_PRESS_NOM
Injection duration → DURATION_MN
Temperature protections → EGT_PROT_ACT
Hybrid torque blending → MTRQ_BLD
Stage 1 gives
• +35–45 hp on the diesel side
• +70–90 Nm torque increase
• stronger low-rpm pull
• smoother hybrid transitions
• lower fuel consumption on cruise
Everything is kept safe: EGT protection, DPF, SCR, EGR, cat temp protections.
